Over the next several weeks be sure to check The Window for information about Alpha as we prepare for our first Alpha experience that will begin in late February.
What is Alpha? Alpha is a study course that covers the basics of Christianity. It answers questions like "Who is Jesus?" and "Why did he die?" The Alpha course lasts 10 weeks, with a day or weekend getaway in the middle. Each week, guests gather to share an informal meal, sing a few songs, listen to a talk on how Christianity approaches the question at hand, and then gather into small groups for discussion. The talks act as a springboard for small group discussions. Plan to attend Wonderful Wednesday on February 9 when the program will focus on Alpha.
