Loving God

Journey 101 - Loving God begins this Sunday The path of discipleship moves us from loving God with our hearts, to knowing God with our heads, to serving God with our hands. Have you signed up yet to participate in Journey 101: Loving God? This six-week class led by our senior pastor, Jim Noland, will begin this Sunday, August 7 at 5:00 p.m. The Loving God classes explore regular spiritual disciplines as a means of receiving God's grace resulting in the transformation of our hearts. Topics covered include worship, prayer, study, guidance, fasting and discerning God's will. We anticipate that students in Journey 101: Loving Godnot only will learn and practice the spiritual disciplines around which the class is built but will also form lasting relationships with the other Christians gathered around their table each week. If such bonds do form, we encourage the small group to continue growing by participating in the other two Journey 101 classes. It is our hope that these bonds will lead to the formation of a small group that will stay together for a longer period of time, growing together in intentional ways, and serving God together.
